The OpEx Coach is responsible for leading major Lean and cultural transformations across customers in the Food & Beverage, CPG, and General Manufacturing industries through the implementation of QAD Redzone software and expert-level coaching.
Coaches work within autonomous teams, have practical experience delivering CI in plants, and believe in leading-through-doing. They work directly with customer shop floor staff, frontline leaders, CI directors, and C-level executives to achieve personal growth and productivity gains.
This position is Full Time, Exempt, Remote and requires travel 42 weeks annually, Monday-Thursday. Coaches must travel up to 80% by driving and/or flying to customer locations as needed. Must be based in the UK or willing/able to obtain a UK working visa with frequent travel to the UK. Bilingual in English and Italian required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and coaches 5-7 customers concurrently.
- Trains customers on Redzone software workflows during 90-day on-site deployments.
- Facilitates shop-floor Huddles and leadership Daily Vital Signs meetings.
- Tracks performance data and customer uplifts.
- Leads process improvement and kaizen activities.
- Shares feedback to drive positive behavior change.
- Facilitates remote weekly customer progress meetings.
- Identifies and celebrates customer successes.
- Manages project schedules.
- Provides Success Assessments.
- Delivers executive overviews and information on Redzone programs.
- Troubleshoots technical issues as needed.
- Supports customer identification of next steps.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Fluent English and Italian.
- Senior Operations Leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience (Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, CI Manager).
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) proficiency.
- Strong relationship building skills with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Time management skills in a high-paced environment.
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Technical comfort with networking, wireless, and software.
- (Desired) PLC experience.
Education/Experience:
- Relevant fields (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Minimum 5+ years manufacturing experience in progressive Ops/Leadership roles.
- (Desired) 2+ years direct coaching experience.
