Dado is seeking an Engineering Lead to join our growing team. This role requires a mix of hands-on coding, technical architecture, and strategic decision-making.
This role starts as an Individual Contributor (IC) with the potential for people management.
Product Overview: Dado's product streamlines HR processes like onboarding, offboarding, mentorship, training, and offsites, automating tedious manual tasks.
Tech Stack: TypeScript (front-end and back-end), serverless cloud functions, Firestore, and React.
Ideal Candidate: Senior IC or someone transitioning back to IC after people management experience. Previous experience as a Principal/Staff Engineer, Engineering Lead at an early-stage startup, leading an engineering team for a new product, or founding a startup is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Leading hands-on coding initially solo, then mentoring other engineers.
- Experience with serverless systems, time-based applications (scheduling tasks), and Google Cloud.
- Directing technical strategy, system architecture, and collaborating on product strategy with leadership.
- Strong understanding of security practices and ideally experience on a security-audited product.
- Excellent communication skills for remote and distributed teams.
