Full-Time Engineering Team Lead

You will play a key role in leading our technical initiatives, providing technical guidance, and driving the development and implementation of online Casino games.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Implement best practices and ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and provide timely updates on project progress.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, troubleshoot system problems, and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement and team collaboration.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of Core Java development experience.
• Spring Boot microservices development and architecture knowledge.
• Proven experience in developing backend solutions.
• Experience in: SQL databases, REST-like APIs.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for developed features and functionality.
• Help other teams using these products and solve different, somehow related issues.
• Research new possibilities for improving current products.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies and collaborating with other Tech Leads, development teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to quick changes and learn new technologies.
• Basic understanding of probability theory and math statistics.
• Basic acquaintance with the theory and practice of gambling.
• Good communication skills & problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of tools like Maven, GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Full stack web development experience.
• Experience in: Microservices, Web Sockets, JWT, CORS handling.
• Experience in using: Docker, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar systems.
• Experience in Performance optimization.
• Experience in game development.
• Experience in certification procedure of casino game server.
