Your RoleAs a core member of our automation and testing initiatives, you'll own the direction, evolution, and integration of them within the MARVEL SNAP team. You'll report to the Lead Engineer and collaborate with analysts, engineers, and artists. You will create test suites, build pipelines, and develop tools to ensure high-quality games.
What You'll Do
- Identify, design, and deliver technical solutions (frameworks, tests, API hooks, tools) that increase test effectiveness, coverage, and development velocity.
- Build and enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Own the long-term development and roadmapping of automation and testing.
- Implement metrics, analyze test data, and report on risk status to enhance software quality.
- Help optimize manual testing and develop new opportunities using automation.
- Automate everything from command lines to complex processes to improve the player experience.
What You'll Need
- Passion for empowering teams with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of industry best testing practices (regression, acceptance, functional, load).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline solutions.
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience leading testing automation initiatives.
- Agile mindset, desire for constant improvement of tooling, automation, and process.
- Ability to navigate startup projects with uncertainty.
- Experience with test automation in Unity.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with .NET, Mobile Devices, and AWS
Compensation
Salary range: $130,000 to $170,000 USD + equity + benefits + potential bonuses.
