Job Details
SOFTGAMES is seeking a Senior Game Designer to join our remote team, focusing on our new Match-3 title. You will play a key role in defining the player experience, emphasizing level design, and contributing to systems and economy design.
Your Role:
- Design and iterate on levels for variety and progression.
- Support game systems, mechanics, and economy structures.
- Collaborate with the team to implement features.
- Translate ideas into actionable design documentation.
- Refine level balance and gameplay using data and playtesting.
- Contribute to game direction and design decisions.
Your Profile:
- Passionate about mobile and casual games, with an interest in Match-3 design.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile game design, ideally on F2P titles.
- Proven experience in Level Design.
- Solid understanding of F2P mechanics and player motivation.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, data, and KPIs.
- Strong communicator, effective in a distributed environment.
- Takes ownership from idea to implementation.
- Fluent in English.
- Located within time zones between GMT and GMT+3 (Europe-based)
Bonus:
- Experience designing levels for Match-3 games.
- Familiarity with prototyping new gameplay mechanics.
- Experience balancing progression in F2P games.
