Escalation Engineer
As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking an Escalation Engineer to join our team in Brazil. At Axonius, we focus on building problem-solving software. We need performance and stability engineers to give our users a rich feature set, high availability, and great performance. We're looking for experienced stability and performance engineers who can extract insights from large-scale data in real-time. We value fresh ideas, unique viewpoints, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you'll serve as an escalation point for emerging issues, providing rapid response.
Responsibilities
- Primary escalation point for complex issues not resolved by Technical Support Engineers
- Rapid triage, analysis, and response to complex system/software issues (outages, performance issues, business blockers)
- Triage information from multiple sources to identify and respond to trending issues
- Join customer calls to diagnose and resolve urgent issues
- Use proactive tools to resolve priority issues
- Evaluate performance issues and adjust customer environments
- Occasionally cover outages outside normal working hours
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
- 5+ years of senior-level customer-facing experience supporting enterprise software
- 5+ years of senior-level experience with APIs, Linux, and Docker
- Experience with CURL and creating CURL commands from Python source code
- Extensive networking and network troubleshooting experience
- Proven experience with Disk Extensions, OS Upgrades, and Performance Analyses
- Research skills and ability to understand complex issues using analysis tools and vendor documentation
