Escalation Engineer, Performance
As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking an Escalation Engineer to join our team!

We are currently seeking experienced engineers to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real-time.
In this role, you will serve as an escalation point, providing rapid response to emerging issues.
Responsibilities:
- Rapid triage, analysis, and response of complex system and/or software related issues (outages, performance issues, business blockers).
- Triage information from multiple sources to spot and respond to trending issues.
- Immediately join calls with customer IT teams, providing solutions and analysis for high-urgency issues.
- Use proactive tools to respond to and resolve priority issues.
- Evaluate performance issues and make resource adjustments.
- Gather and analyze metrics to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Provide performance training and updates to relevant teams.
- Occasionally cover outages outside normal working hours.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of senior-level experience in a customer-facing role supporting enterprise software.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with Linux.
- 2+ years of professional experience working with MongoDB.
- Experience with monitoring technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, APM) is preferred.
- Experience with Redis and Celery is preferred.
- 2+ years of programming experience (structured and OO) with high-level languages (Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, JavaScript).
- A proactive approach to spotting problems and performance bottlenecks.
