UnitedHealth Group is seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Senior Vice President and Optum Chief Communications Officer in the mission to evolve the Communications Function. The Executive Assistant candidate must possess the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, poise and presence. She/he will have experience in organizational communications, research, operations and project management. Composure, agility, dealing with ambiguous situations and critical thinking are essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee an intricately detailed schedule
- Assist with the management of travel and expenses, including reconciling and submitting reports
- Be the primary interface, representing the Optum CCO in making meeting arrangements and ensuring CCO's presence at key company meetings/venues
- Assist with creating and editing power presentations, e-mail communications and reports
- Maintain a vast paper and electronic filing system
- Determine priority of matters of attention for the CCO; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate
- Handle printing, copying, mailing/overnight packages of materials
- Help make judgments on requests and prioritize on behalf of the CCO
- Ensure CCO is prepared for critical meeting - materials, travel, attendance
- Monitor and support progress of key business and operational activities
- Request follow ups and take follow up actions to support project deliverables
- Monitor the CCO's email and the review/approval system to identify urgent requests
- Be a critical team member in implementing the Enterprise Communications employee experience, by facilitating team larger cross business team meetings

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting c-suite level executives
- Experience providing support in an Executive environment and interactions with individuals at all levels inside and outside of Communications
- Experience with fast-paced, externally facing organizations (Communications, Marketing, Government/Public Affairs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
