Field Experience Coordinator is a full-time staff position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Works closely with students and agencies to secure appropriate field placements.
- Manages student field placement site and site supervisor selection.
- Completes administrative duties of the field placement office.
- Collaborates with the field director and Walden's field placement office.
- Provides routine reporting and data collection.
- Supports students in preparing and applying for field experience.
- Serves as main point of contact for student cohort regarding field experience matters.
- Assists students in locating field sites.
- Coordinates with team members in the School's Office of Field Experience.
- Works with field site contacts to establish affiliation agreements.
- Coordinates site onboarding requirements.
- Assists Field Experience staff and faculty in resolving student problems.
- Tracks and maintains field experience resources and student files.
- Develops and maintains field experience communications.
- Assists in training and mentoring new team members.
- Partners with field experience staff on projects and initiatives.
- Collaborates with university teams on student placement needs.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited university.
- 2+ years post-MSW practice experience.
- Experience with student support in a university setting (preferred).
- Experience with providing academic counseling and advising (preferred).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (preferred).
- Ability to manage high volume activities with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to diversity and social change.
- Ability to work with non-traditional students.
- Ability to provide guidance and support in field experience searches and placement.
- Ability to participate in residencies, national faculty meetings and other work-related travel.

Salary range: $18.70 - $33.84.
