Full-Time Finance Analyst 2024-7459

Shift: Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets.
• Processing and reconciliation of finance-related transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Providing customer service and support during night shift (US EST).
• Accurate and timely turnaround on all payables for various entities.
• Utilization of complex cost center and intercompany allocation methodologies.
• Data analytics (e.g., payment volume reports, duplicate and prohibited vendors).
• Assistance with journal entries (reclass and reprocess).
• Vendor management (verify banking information for ACH and wire settlements).
• Self-assessment of use/sales tax on applicable purchases.
• Implementation of GAAP standards and SOX audit requirements.
• Access to vendor billing portals for electronic invoices.
• Customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assistance with projects involving analysis and reconciliation.
• Recording cash payments in Accounts Receivable.
• Applying cash to open receivable transactions.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing reports to balances.
• Review and analysis of reports.
• Meeting monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables.
• Collaboration with onshore and offshore teams.

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of statistics and statistical packages (Excel).
• Experience with reporting packages and financial systems.
• Property & Casualty experience is desired.
• Basic understanding of project management and insurance terminology.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Great Plains general ledger knowledge.
• Financial Systems knowledge (Accounts Receivable cash application system).

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Excel (Proficient)
• Microsoft Word (Proficient)

Education:

• BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
