Full-Time Finance Analyst

Shift: Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze policy premium balances and timely collection of outstanding premiums.
• Process and reconcile finance-related transactions with strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide support to the US Finance team.
• Record cash payments in Accounts Receivable system.
• Apply cash to open receivable transactions.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with errant payments.
• Communicate with internal and external customers for proper direction of incoming payments.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Review and analyze reports.

Skills & Experience:

• Desired: Property & Casualty experience.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of project management concepts and insurance terminology.
• Required: Strong financial and analytical skills, business problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, detail-oriented and efficient documentation, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge: Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, Great Plains general ledger, Financial Systems, Accounts Receivable cash application system (MAJESCO Billing experience a plus), Workflow systems, other document management platforms, and insurance applications.
• Technical Skills:
  1. Microsoft Excel - Proficiency Level Required (R)
  2. Microsoft Office - Proficiency Level Required (R)
  3. Financial Systems - Proficiency Level Required (R)
• Education: BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent discipline.
