Finance Analyst - Supply Chain
The key role of the Finance Analyst will be ensuring that our freight costs are accurately tracked, trends are analysed, and all financial processes related to transport operations are seamlessly executed. You will work closely with transport companies, analyse financial data, reconcile charges, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making and cost optimisation. - Build and maintain visual and written reports that highlight key trends and provide actionable recommendations for cost control and optimisation.
- Liaise with transporters to ensure accurate payments are made, reviewing invoices and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with transport partners to ensure transparency and alignment on financial matters.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of freight charges, aligning transport costs with the corresponding transport legs.
- Suggest and propose accruals based on financial trends to ensure proper financial recognition and reporting.
- Develop detailed financial reports that showcase cost trends, identify outliers, and track progress against financial goals.
- Present findings to management through clear and concise written reports and visual presentations, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed of financial trends and variances.
- Oversee the transactional processes related to freight payments, ensuring that transporters are paid correctly and on time.
- Provide analytical support for the broader stores and venues supply chain business, ensuring that supply chain costs are also well-managed and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the preparation and review of month-end financial reports related to freight operations, ensuring that all costs are accurately captured, reconciled, and reported.
