The Role: We’re looking for a high-performing Marketing Finance Manager to join our Finance team and become the go-to partner for all things marketing performance. This person will drive visibility into the full marketing funnel, implement controls on paid spend, ensure rigorous financial discipline across acquisition channels, and drive clarity around ROI. You’ll work closely with our marketing, data engineering and analytics teams to turn data into insights and strategy into action.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain models and dashboards to track performance across paid and organic channels
- Collaborate closely with data engineering and marketing analytics to improve data pipelines, dashboarding, and reporting reliability.
- Write and review SQL/BigQuery queries to independently analyze campaign performance; Python experience a plus for automation and deeper analytics.
- Analyze customer acquisition costs (CAC), LTV, conversion rates, and ROI by channel, cohort, and segment
- Identify trends, surface insights, and communicate findings in a clear, compelling way to both finance and marketing stakeholders
- Implement frameworks and controls to enforce budget restrictions on paid media and demand generation initiatives.
- Partner with marketing on creative testing, attribution, and campaign optimization
- Be a thought partner on trade-offs and resource allocation, and push back when needed to ensure financial discipline
- Own key reporting for leadership and the board on marketing performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data, growth, product, and ops as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, FP&A, growth strategy, or a similar data-focused role
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large data sets; advanced Excel/Sheets required
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Google BigQuery preferred); ability to write queries independently and validate data accuracy.
- Python experience (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) is a plus, particularly for forecasting, modeling, or automation.
- Experience partnering with engineering or data teams on pipeline and tooling improvements.
- A clear and persuasive communicator who can tell a story with numbers
- Familiarity with digital marketing metrics, funnels, and attribution models
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Experience working with marketing teams or in fast-paced startup environments preferred
