The resource, working within the Financial Reporting team, will play a key role in supporting the evolution of financial reporting in a challenging and stimulating environment. You will help bridge the gap between finance and BI. Our primary objective is to assist the business in making decisions based on data, with a particular emphasis on producing reports as the primary and most reliable source of information.
A team of 12 experts provides support to various departments, including marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience, for both short-term and long-term projects. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, we strive to develop reports, analyses, models, and recommendations that enable us to gain a deep understanding of how we can enhance the satisfaction of both doctors and patients.
You will be an integral part of the Financial Reporting team, working closely with the Data Analytics team to support business decisions based on data.
How would you be impacting our mission
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Track key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring they align with organizational goals;
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial dashboards using advanced BI tools;
- Provide detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and variances;
- Provide insights for long-term strategic decisions;
- Data Management and Integration:
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of financial data from systems like Oracle NetSuite;
- Integrate data from multiple sources for a unified financial view;
- Performance Measurement:
- Analyze profitability and cost efficiency to identify improvement areas;
- Regulatory and Compliance Reporting:
- Support audits and for regulatory documentation;
- Automation and Process Improvement:
- Automate repetitive financial tasks to improve efficiency;
- Implement process improvements to reduce manual efforts and errors;
- Enhanced Reporting and Visualization:
- Utilize BI tools like Tableau for dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards;
- Enhance report quality and accessibility beyond traditional spreadsheets.
What will help you thrive?
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights, either in commercial or academic setting (must have).
- Knowledge of Python/R and desire to expand your knowledge.
- Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics.
- Experience in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and executing end to end BI projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages such as German, Spanish, and Italian is a plus.
- Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide high-quality work efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a quickly changing environment, managing competing demands.
