Contractor Financial Analyst/QuickBooks Specialist

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow management, and operational finance.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize financial systems such as QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Bill.com, and related tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working across teams and with external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.

• QuickBooks: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop versions). Demonstrated experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting QuickBooks accounts.
• Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, GAAP, and general financial processes.
• Experience with Payroll, Invoicing, and Tax Preparation: Ability to manage payroll, generate invoices, track expenses, and assist with tax filings within QuickBooks.
• Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry, reconciliations, and report generation.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify discrepancies, solve accounting errors, and optimize system use.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets: Comfortable working with spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.

• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Ability to interpret financial data, spot trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Advanced Reporting Skills: Create custom reports in QuickBooks and Excel/Google Sheets to support strategic decision-making.
• KPI Development & Tracking: Identify key performance indicators and build dashboards to monitor business health.
• Process Improvement Mindset: Evaluate current workflows and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, or compliance.
• Budgeting & Cash Flow Management: Support or lead the budgeting process and provide ongoing cash flow projections.
