About the Role: Wing is looking for a Fleet Records Analyst to join our Operations team based remotely in the US. In this role, you’ll support development and maintenance of a fleet records management system, unlocking Wing’s operational scale for years to come. This role will require meticulous records and data oversight to work with internal stakeholders to ensure the fleet management team can always supply business operations with enough aircraft and ground assets to scale new operational launches, while balancing the needs for existing operations’ asset availability. Throughout this effort you will also ensure Wing maintains compliance with respect to fleet regulatory data management and reporting requirements.
What You’ll Do:
- Support development of tooling and process to drive scaled operations centered around high volume fleet availability and reliability
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses with internal partners and stakeholders that translates data into actionable insights for fleet health metrics
- Deliver recurring reports on fleet performance against availability targets, report on progress against issue resolution paths, and escalate findings to cross-functional Engineering, Operations and Quality teams as needed
- Supervise the accurate ingestion of fleet asset (aircraft, subassemblies & ground equipment) life cycle data from vendor MES (manufacturing execution systems) into internal records tools, regulator’s systems & maintenance processes
- Audit all fleet asset data in GEAR & correct erroneous or incomplete records
- Create, distribute and manage aircraft & ground equipment Directives (recalls) internally and track their status & completion
- Create, revise & manage records management system Air Hardware Model definition & Part Specification data and align with Agile (product life management database)
- Manage internal asset location definition data & align w/ TI (Technical Infrastructure team) & FOPS (Flight Operations team) requirements
- Manage aircraft regulatory registrations (US-FAA, AU-CASA, etc.) to ensure compliance, including audits, renewals & deletions
- Manage fleet data on FAA web-based systems to ensure compliance with Operations Specification (D085), insurance certification & remote ID compliance and reporting requirements
- Manage user informational, process & training resources in the GEAR Knowledge Base
- Build & manage reports & dashboards related to records management system status, fleet data and user requirements
- Collaborate with Wing stakeholders, developers and users to identify & correct deficiencies with, and identify key use-case feature enhancements for, asset management data systems
- Provide system support to assist Wing users with data discrepancies, queries, dashboards and reporting
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years experience in fleet management, aviation operations management, or experience with the FAA records management
- Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
- Strong understanding of aircraft records procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in computerized asset & maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability managing fleet or data validation programs leveraging scaled analytics with an understanding of statistical principles
- Technical understanding of complex autonomous, robotic, drone or aviation based systems as well as systems diagnostics best practices and root cause analysis best practices
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse team of stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, technicians, manufacturing, and program managers
The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
Salary Range $117,000—$175,000 USD
