Position Summary: As the Full Time Auditor, perform third-party audits per Eurofins Certification procedures and requirements of applicable standards (e.g., GRMA, SSCI, 21 CFR 111/117, ANSI 455-2). Collect and analyze sufficient information to provide a certification recommendation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accreditation/qualification, knowledge, and understanding of federal and state laws regarding dietary supplements, cosmetics, OTCs, and other GxP regulations, including GRMA, SSCI, ISO 22716, 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117, ANSI 455-2.
- Conduct all audit process components: management, planning, travel, execution, and client follow-up.
- Perform witness audits, surveillance audits, and supervision reviews by accreditation officers and other Eurofins members, as needed.
- Maintain accredited auditor status and achieve additional scheme accreditations, as requested.
- Maintain professional development and training for audit proficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality, and adhere to Eurofins and client procedures.
- Understand and practice Eurofins quality manual, policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure timeliness, consistency, and accuracy in audits and reports, meeting 3rd party auditor and scheme reporting requirements and KPIs.
- Attend annual informational and calibration meetings.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS in food, pharmaceutical, quality-related, or bioscience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing (dietary supplements, cosmetics, or drugs).
- Completed recognized HACCP Training (16 hours, 2 days).
- Passed recognized Lead Auditor Training (40 hours, 5 days).
- Knowledge of GFSI is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, strong time management skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Travel: Up to 80% travel (automobile/airplane), potentially international (8+ hours flight). Weekend travel may be needed.
Position Details: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
