This FP&A Executive is responsible for supporting the Head of Finance by preparing analytical reports and generating standard monthly reporting.
The Primary function of the FP&A Executive role is to aggregate business unit financial information and coordinate with the business units and corporate accounting to gather additional information and commentary.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate monthly reports supporting the monthly Business Review.
- Evaluate reported results for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with business units to enhance understanding and analysis of reported results.
- Act as the Adaptive IT admin to coordinate system changes (e.g., program name changes, discontinuations, roll-ups) with other systems (e.g., CRM, Keyhub).
- Manage, update, and analyze the financial forecast in Adaptive Insights.
- Manage the overall Adaptive Insights model (levels, dimensions, users, structure).
- Manage and implement monthly time allocations to track programmatic contribution margins.
- Perform variance analysis, compare actual performance with budgets/forecasts.
- Support ad-hoc financial analyses for organizational needs.
- Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Key contributor in preparing and presenting Consolidated Long-Range Plan, Consolidated Budgets, and Forecasts.
- Assist senior leadership with presentations and ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Malaysian University).
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA, CPA, MIA) highly regarded.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proven working knowledge of IFRS, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with data management and data analytics (a plus).
- Results-driven, hands-on approach with ability to work independently.
- Experience with financial software and systems, Adaptive System experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
