Position Overview: The FP&A Manager bridges finance and operations, driving decisions through data. Partnering with business unit leaders, this role aligns financial models, forecasts, and KPIs with business goals, delivering actionable recommendations for improved outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align financial planning with business objectives.
- Lead development and tracking of business KPIs.
- Develop robust financial models for strategic decision-making.
- Drive initiatives to improve, automate, or simplify financial processes.
- Partner with Accounting for monthly close.
- Own monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Improve the financial planning process (budgets, forecasts, long-term models).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or similar, preferably in professional services, SaaS, or technology.
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
- Strong intellectual curiosity, ownership, and passion for delivery.
- Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management.
- Results-driven, highly motivated, with tactical and strategic thinking.
- Passion for using data to drive decisions.
- Interpret and present data visually to financial and non-financial audiences.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles.
Desired Qualifications:
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau) is a plus.
