Full-Time Full-Time QA & Scrum Master

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QA professional with Scrum Master expertise to join our IT team full-time.

This dual-role position focuses on ensuring product quality through comprehensive testing while driving Agile processes to improve team efficiency and collaboration.

As a QA & Scrum Master, you will work closely with developers, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality software and streamline project execution.

This is a remote full-time position with working hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

1. QA Responsibilities:
2. Conduct thorough testing of new features, updates, and bug fixes to ensure compliance with technical and user requirements.
3. Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
4. Identify, document, and manage bugs, collaborating with developers for resolution.
5. Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and performance testing.
6. Validate requirements and specifications for testability and accuracy.
7. Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
8. Monitor and report on software quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvements in testing practices.

1. Scrum Master Responsibilities:
2. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Act as a servant leader, enabling the team to identify and overcome impediments to progress.
4. Promote Agile principles and ensure adherence to Scrum practices within the team.
5. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog and align it with business goals.
6. Track team performance and sprint progress using Agile tools like Jira or Trello.
7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.
8. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of sprint goals and project milestones.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of combined experience as a QA and Scrum Master in IT or software development.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks. Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and software development workflows. Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Agile Expertise: In-depth understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, with proven experience leading Agile teams.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership skills to facilitate teamwork and resolve conflicts. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong analytical skills to identify and address technical and process-related issues.
