Full-Time Global BRCGS Technical Reviewer

The jobholder is responsible for the technical review of BRCGS audit reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Technical Reviews and Certification Decisions align with SGS procedures and BRCGS requirements.
• Guaranteeing timely customer certificate issuance.
• Developing and maintaining expertise in SGS procedures and external approval criteria for efficient BRCGS contract approvals.
• Collaborating with the Global BRCGS Product Manager in prioritizing Technical Reviews to meet KPIs.
• Conducting technical reviews and certification decisions per SGS procedures, ensuring client certificates are issued on time and report quality meets scheme KPIs.
• Maintaining accurate scheme owner database to fulfill KPI criteria.
• Supporting proposals, business development, and expanding customer service capabilities.
• Offering technical support and guidance to SGS affiliates and customers.
• Providing internal training to the Global network to enhance the certification process.
• Completing additional technical tasks related to BRCGS, as requested by line managers, for team objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years' full-time experience in Food Industry or Retail.
• Lead auditor or technical reviewer experience in Global Food Safety schemes (e.g., BRCGS, FSSC, IFS).
• First degree or equivalent in Food or Bioscience discipline.
• Recognized HACCP qualification (minimum 2 days).

Skills and Attributes:

• Thorough understanding of Food safety principles, quality management, manufacturing processes, and sector challenges.
• Detailed knowledge of BRCGS standards.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (all levels).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluency in English.
