Full-Time Head of Agriculture Analytics

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to help leading companies and governments navigate evolving agriculture commodity markets. The Head of Agriculture and Biofuel Analytics will lead research, analysis, and content development for short- and long-term forecasts.

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead team to develop, produce, and update forecasts for oils, fats, grains, and biofuels.
• Develop marketplace contacts and expand Fastmarkets' content and brand.
• Act as spokesperson for Fastmarkets' Agriculture and Biofuels content.
• Communicate with customers to support sales and business development.
• Manage a team of Analysts to ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Collaborate with the head of consulting on projects.
• Partner with Fastmarkets Events to develop compelling programs.
• Manage client and internal inquiries about markets.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of agriculture markets, including oils, fats, grains, and biofuels.
• Working knowledge of government policies (e.g., RINS, LCSFs).
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
• Presenting and speaking to the media
• Strong analytical/mathematical/econometric modelling skills
• Exposure to advanced statistical modeling and forecasting
• Leadership and team-player qualities
• Experience in commodity analysis
