Full-Time Head of Compliance

• Regulatory Compliance & Oversight: Design, implement, and maintain compliance programs covering AML/CFT, sanctions, and data security.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure Veda's products comply with financial and data protection laws.
• Manage compliance due diligence for client and partner relationships and act as the primary compliance contact.
• Program Execution & Monitoring: Conduct ongoing monitoring, lead internal investigations, maintain compliance metrics, and coordinate responses to external audits.
• Policy & Control Management: Oversee compliance documentation, support risk assessments, and partner with teams to align product design with compliance and privacy principles.
• Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs and promote a proactive compliance culture.

• Law degree (JD or equivalent) required.
• 6+ years of compliance or regulatory experience in fintech, financial services, or crypto.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, data protection laws, and financial regulatory frameworks relevant to crypto and DeFi.
• Experience managing compliance programs in regulated or partner-facing environments.
• Passion for decentralized finance and open-source ecosystems.
