Role Overview

Drive the data vision for the organization, creating a sustainable data culture and practice. Analyze program outcomes, make data-driven decisions, and build digital experiences to support learners. Scale to help >10x learners succeed.

Responsibilities

1. Champion a data strategy roadmap for learner and coach data.
2. Collaborate cross-functionally to execute the data roadmap and facilitate data input and analytics.
3. Enable data-driven decision-making and benchmarking.
4. Ensure data security within the organization and when shared with third-party partners.
5. Foster a strong data culture across Merit America.
6. Lead the data team to ensure high staff morale, sense of belonging.

Skills and Competencies

• Drive decision-making through data (A/B testing, causal inference, analytics).
• Understand data architectures, governance, and models.
• Work with diverse stakeholders and understand business needs.
• Expert people leader, mentor, and hiring manager.
• Understand data and AI industry trends.
• Expert in Data Warehousing and SQL.
• Knowledge of BI tools (Hex, Looker, PowerBI).
• Understand and leverage evidence-based leadership.
• Create and operationalize new systems/processes for fast-scaling organizations.
