As Head of Scrum Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies.
You will provide line management to a small team of scrum masters and business analysts, ensuring a consistent approach across different development projects.
This is a hands on role so you will be expected to carry out your scrum master duties in addition to providing leadership to your team.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a servant leader, guiding and coaching multiple Agile development teams to embrace and follow Scrum principles and practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress and help them become self-organizing.
- Ensure that Agile teams adhere to Agile/Scrum best practices and principles while customising processes to suit team needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by helping the team identify areas for enhancement and facilitating retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, prioritise user stories, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Foster open communication and collaboration between team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Educate team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and processes, ensuring a shared understanding of Agile values.
- Monitor and report on team progress, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and stakeholders.
- Actively seek opportunities to expand Agile and Scrum knowledge and promote Agile best practices within the organisation.
- To be responsible for the line management of Scrum Masters and Business Analysts in your team and to formulate personal development plans to ensure a structured career progression
- Document scrum processes and ways of working and ensure that such documentation is kept up to date and relevant
