The ChallengeTo scale, optimize, and dominate global search, we need an SEO architect who understands that SEO isn’t just marketing—it’s an engineering challenge, a data puzzle, and a global growth lever.
This is a high-impact role where you will own Rome2Rio’s search visibility, organic growth, and technical SEO infrastructure. You’ll work across product, engineering, and content teams to embed SEO performance into every aspect of our platform.
Your mission: Expand Rome2Rio’s reach across diverse geographies through technical excellence—not just content creation.
What You'll Own
- Technical SEO Architecture: Collaborate with engineering to implement site architecture, page load optimization, mobile-friendliness, schema markup, and URL structuring.
- Data & AI-Driven Strategy: Develop innovative SEO strategies using advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to drive organic growth.
- International SEO Framework: Build scalable systems for multilingual and multi-regional SEO targeting.
- Experimentation & Testing: Lead A/B tests and organic engagement experiments to continuously optimize search performance.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Work with Omio teams to ensure consistent SEO implementation across platforms.
- Performance Analytics: Use advanced tools to extract meaningful insights, track KPIs, and drive strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a senior role (preferably in travel, e-commerce, or technology).
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in site architecture, web performance, and data integration.
- Tools & Technologies: Experience with SEO tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, crawlers) and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze data and implement technical SEO solutions at scale.
- International SEO Expertise: International SEO expertise—managing multilingual, multi-regional search strategies.
- Leadership: Leadership skills to influence product and engineering teams.
- Passion: Passion for travel, technical innovation, and AI-driven approaches.
