Clinical Account Manager (CAM) acts as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products as lead by the Regional Sales Director.
Strategic Role:Provides current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products and effectively communicates on-label clinical benefits.
Sales Leader: Achieves territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, delivering branded sales messages, representing Sobi at local meetings, and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
Remote position, but must reside within the Omaha territory.
Responsibilities:
- Representing Sobi products/services to a defined customer base.
- Generating/growing sales and achieving/exceeding sales goals.
- Promoting appropriate Sobi product use, adhering to corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
- Understanding Sobi and competitor products, disease states.
- Developing/implementing a territory business plan to meet customer needs.
- Analyzing territory sales data to prioritize physicians.
- Ensuring accurate physician reporting.
- Strict compliance with regulatory agencies, state, and federal laws.
- Preparing territory budget plans for customer contacts, symposia, etc.
- Assisting in issue/opportunity identification and resolution.
- Communicating proactively with sales/marketing management.
- Reporting adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department.
- Performing administrative functions (call activity reporting, expense submission, etc.).
- Travel within assigned territory (up to 40-50% overnights).
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business or science.
- Minimum 5 years’ dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ biologics sales experience with specialty pharmacy or 8 years with dedicated hospital selling experience.
- Experience with transition of care/patient journey from hospital to outpatient.
- High sales performance history.
- Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formularies.
- Strong work ethic, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Experience working with academic accounts (e.g., University of Nebraska Medical Center).
Compensation:
Base salary range: $120,000-$190,000 annually.
