Job DescriptionSmartkarma seeks a senior independent analyst to build and scale ASEAN equities coverage, focusing on Indonesia and the broader region.

Responsibilities Include:

• Equity bottom-up analysis: company tear-sheets, channel checks, management meeting takeaways
• Thematic commentary: economic & sectoral drivers across ASEAN markets
• Valuation and relative-value frameworks: benchmark comparisons and peer analyses
• Event-driven briefs: earnings previews, corporate actions, and capital-markets updates
• Client service: high-touch service for select institutional clients

Qualifications

• Extensive research and/or investment experience (10+ years) for institutional clients.
• Proven track record and an extensive network across ASEAN equity capital markets.
• Demonstrated ability to write research.
