Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our FamilyAlbum global growth team on an interim basis for a minimum of seven months. This part-time role (20 hours per week) involves supporting new product development and design management responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution of tasks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define product requirements and approach, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and the overseas team in Japan on product development and design tasks.
- Unblock legal, finance, and technical issues to ensure smooth project progression.
- Inform relevant stakeholders on new initiatives and ensure legal and financial readiness.
- Obtain budget approvals and complete necessary signups and administrative tasks.
- Manage external business relationships, including contract creation and closure.
- Conduct product and UI research to support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage design tasks, deliverable requirements, wireframe, define UX/UI, and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Finalize UI/design by gathering and consolidating feedback from various stakeholders, and compose deliverables for engineers with designers.
- Write epics, define user stories, and prepare for sprint planning.
- Prepare necessary assets and data for engineers.
- Assist in QA processes.
- Lead user interviews and surveys, from preparation to documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a remote and part-time capacity.
- Excellent English communication skills with various stakeholders for product development.
- Strong background in product development and design management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with legal and financial processes in product development.
- Experience with user research, surveys, and interviews.
- Proficiency in wireframing, UX/UI design, and managing design assets.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and sprint planning.
