Full-Time Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, designing, developing, maintaining, evaluating, and assuring the quality and performance of software system components.
• Supporting and guiding team members.
• Defining the quality control process and integrating it with development.
• Analyzing project requirements (low and medium complexity).
• Identifying testing needs and proposing tests for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Estimating testing effort.
• Developing test plans and high-level tests.
• Implementing frameworks for scheduled tests.
• Implementing integration and system tests (with team support).
• Implementing low-level test cases.
• Defining strategies for updating tests with changes.
• Implementing scheduled tests as planned.
• Executing test cases (manual and automated).
• Verifying and reporting test execution results (e.g., defect reports, daily status, test coverage).
• Ensuring quality control process adherence, identifying deviations, and proposing corrective actions.
• Issuing test reports for iteration closure and deployment reports.
• Documenting lessons learned and technical/process aspects.

Skills Required:

• Object-oriented, functional, procedural, and asynchronous programming paradigms.
• Software engineering processes.
• Software quality assurance (unit, integration, system, user acceptance tests).
• Automated, performance, load, stress, and API testing.
• System design patterns and best practices.
• Documentation (test cases, design diagrams, etc.).
• Programming Languages (desirable): Java, JavaScript/Node.js, SQL, Ruby, Python, PHP, JSON.
• Agile methodologies (desirable): Scrum, Kanban.

Tools (desirable):

• Test case programming tools (Selenium, JMeter, TestNG).
• POSIX shell management.
• Build tools (Maven, Gradle, etc.).
• Continuous integration tools (Travis, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Databases (relational and non-relational).
• Source control management.
• Basic AWS knowledge (desirable).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in test-oriented software development.

Education:

• Technician or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent knowledge.

Language:

• Technical and conversational English (B2+).
