Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing company in the recruiting for Export Customer Service Representative to join their Customer Service team. This is a new role open to growth to manage the movement of international orders and support customer service and sales teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining and analyzing export activities.
This is a permanent placement role located in Germantown, WI offering full benefits package with quarterly bonus eligibility, generous paid time off and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, handling inquiries and complaints efficiently.
• Manage the movement of products, equipment, and materials in compliance with relevant local, country, and international laws.
• Process customers' orders and ensure they are in line with the company's policies.
• Monitor and record export activities, identifying trends and results for analysis.
• Provide project oversight and administrative support to the customer service and sales team.
• Handle Export Shipments and International Freight with diligence, ensuring all International Shipments are processed in a timely manner.
• Manage International Shipping procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service experience in manufacturing or related industry
• Must have a deep understanding of Export Customer Service
• Proficient in handling Export-Import Documents
• Knowledgeable about Export Controls and Laws
