Full-Time IT Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst needed to join our expanding IT team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and suggesting data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.

1. Requirements Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to document business requirements for new initiatives, system improvements, and process optimizations. Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
2. Process Mapping: Analyze current workflows and processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements for enhanced business performance. Develop and document business process models for current and future states.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, interpret, and analyze data to produce actionable insights and reports for informed business decision-making.
4. Implementation and Communication: Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement solutions that align with business goals, communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives.
5. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and function correctly.
6. Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process automation, digital transformation, and enhanced system integration.

Qualifications include 5+ years of experience in business analysis. Required technical skills include familiarity with business analysis and project management tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Azure, Visio, and data analysis tools such as SQL and PBI.

Knowledge of Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches is important.

Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong business acumen are essential.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
