Full-Time IT-Security Engineer - Endpoint Protection (m/w/d)

About the role: As our (Senior) IT-Security Engineer - Endpoint Protection (m/w/d) you’ll play a key role in strengthening our endpoint security measures while collaborating with a dynamic and innovative team. About your tasks:

• Enhance and maintain robust security solutions for digital workplaces, including malware prevention and detection, encryption, and endpoint hardening.
• Develop automation for recurring processes.
• Take ownership of patch and vulnerability management, identifying, evaluating, and deploying operating system and application patches as well as security updates.
• Drive the development of security policies by designing and implementing client hardening concepts.
• Explore growth opportunities by contributing to IT security projects focused on infrastructure and applications, driving innovative solutions.
• Ensure security compliance by analyzing system reports and providing insights into endpoint security status.

About you:

• Several years of professional experience in endpoint security, with expertise in operating systems (Windows, Mac) and their management solutions
• Strong expertise in operating systems, their management solutions, and security frameworks, with a special focus on safety mechanisms (Windows, Mac)
• Hands-on experience with antivirus products (e.g., With-Secure, ESET, Sophos, Trend Micro).
• Deep Knowledge and hands-on experience in client/endpoint administration a and hardening.
• Knowledge in Windows Server infrastructures, Linux, VMware is a plus
• Ideally you have worked with endpoint management systems like SCCM/MECM, Intune or Baramundi
• Fluency in English (C1), with German (C1) as a strong bonus
