About this Position We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Engineer to join our IT Security team. In this critical role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions to protect TJX’s systems and data. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying vulnerabilities, managing security threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, all while supporting a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. Your expertise will help safeguard TJX’s systems and drive continuous improvement in our security posture.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement secure system and network designs to protect enterprise assets.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead investigations and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on operations.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security technologies and tools to enhance TJX’s security posture.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX).
- Collaborate with IT, application development, and business teams to integrate security best practices into systems and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on security practices.
Job Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT security engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and endpoint protection.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management systems.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC.
- Experience in a retail or multi-location business environment.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Pay Range
- Pay Range: $109 - $125/hr
