Full-Time IT Test Automation Engineer (Mid-Senior, Hybrid)

Test preparation

• Draw up/update test cases based on specifications.
• Make preparations to carry out test cases correctly and completely.
• Review requirements for completeness, correctness, and clarity.
• Apply black box test design techniques.
• Select and prioritize test cases for automation and/or regression.

Test execution

• Ensure correct application of the test plan.
• Create test logs, including Pass/Fail results.
• Create Defects with sufficient test evidence.
• Exploratory testing with inside information.
• Automate testing processes with approved tooling.

Test Report

• Analyze test results and associated communication.
• Communicate results to the Test Lead.
• Provide daily test reports.
• Suggest test improvements.

Job requirements

• 3 years minimum testing experience.
• Experienced with FrontEnd and BackEnd Test Automation.
• Experience with testing Desktop Applications (Delphi).
• Knowledge of test management tools and defect management systems.
• Excellent knowledge of Portuguese and English.
• Analytical mindset.
• Great interest and motivation to develop Test Automation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
• Experienced with coding test automation scripts.
• Programming skills (javascript, python, c#, etc...)
• Knowledge of common development practices (Agile, DevOps, TDD etc)
