Junior Accountant - Contract Opportunity

100% Remote Position

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Junior Accountant to support inventory accounting accuracy and financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and reconcile financial adjustments to maintain Stock Ledger accuracy.
• Research and resolve errors in daily transaction reports.
• Develop and distribute reports on inventory valuation and shrink trends.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls for audit readiness.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and review peer-prepared adjustments.

Requirements:

• Intermediate accounting knowledge and retail accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and cross-functional relationship building skills.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
