Junior Accountant

As our Junior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial documentation and reporting.

You will work closely with various departments to maintain records, analyze financial data, and provide insights that support the company’s financial health.

• Managing the general ledger
• Tracking company assets and expenses
• Suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency

Your work will be pivotal in helping us maintain financial accuracy and support the growth of our global, mission-driven team.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with different departments to provide advice on company resources and procedures.
• Document company assets, income, anticipated expenses, and liabilities, providing detailed analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain the general ledger by documenting business financial transactions and preparing entries for company accounts.
• Proactively suggest improvements to practices and processes to enhance efficiency.

What are the requirements?

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks.
• Excel and computer skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.

What will be great to have?

• Have written and/or edited basic data scraping scripts with tools such as Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
