The Role We seek a Law School Admissions Consultant to mentor students through the law school application process.
Responsibilities
- Work with prospective law school candidates to build profiles and craft applications.
- Manage relationships with applicants and families, providing guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews.
- Identify optimal law schools for individual students.
- Provide feedback and support regarding research on university majors, programs, and resources.
- Help students create and stick to application timelines using trackers.
- Create effective personal statements and essays, providing direction, editing, and narrative support.
- Stay updated on law school admissions process and programs.
Qualifications
- Graduation or current enrollment in a top US JD or LLM program.
- Experience with T-14 law schools.
- Passion for coaching.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Project management expertise.
- Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and admission consulting is a plus.
