Full-Time Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/14001)

Lead Auditor with CQI/IRCA certifications (ISO45001:2018, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 (GBS Technical Reviewer))

The GBS Technical Reviewer must check that ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 audit report packs comply with all relevant requirements. The Technical Reviewer is responsible for verifying that the audit was conducted according to SGS procedural requirements, including team competence, audit time spent, audit plan structure, etc. The output of the audit must be technically appropriate and adequate to support the audit team's recommendations.

Responsibilities:

1. Check audit report packs to ensure:
• All documentation is present and complete.
• Changes since the client's application are verified as not adversely affecting certification.
• Concessions for delayed or deviating visits are properly approved.
• Scope is clearly defined (site identification, standard, etc.).
• Certification scope aligns with CDS or any changes are explained.
• Correct Industry EAC/TA code is assigned.
• Audit scope is covered by the selected SGS CBE accreditation.
• Assigned audit days are in accordance with guidance; deviations are justified.
• Proposal was correctly approved.
• Audit was conducted by appropriate competent auditor/team.
• Team contains any necessary additional qualifications for the specific standard.
• For V1R (re-certification), audit timing is correct.
• Audit plan is consistent with required audit days, team composition, shift structure, and multi-site activities.
• Nonconformities are identified appropriately (Maj/Min classification, clear wording reflecting severity).
• Observations and/or opportunities for improvement are documented and clearly worded.
• Audit is in conformance with SGS CBE Global and Local Procedures and any applicable project, sampling, or quality plan.
• No major nonconformity remains open.
• For Minor non-conformity, client's proposed corrective action has been reviewed and accepted.
• Audit covers all relevant Management Systems aspects and processes.
• Team recommendation is consistent with audit findings.

Additional responsibilities

• Raise queries to the relevant person if any item above is inadequate.
• Phrase queries constructively.
• Perform review in a timely manner (5 working days).
• Use relevant IT systems (APPLAUDD+, Certnet).

Knowledge requirements:

• Specific management system standards/normative documents.
• SGS CBE processes and procedures.
• Audit principles, practices, and techniques.
• Client business sector.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Outstanding organizational skills, detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Strong analytical skills with data management/processing ability.
• Clear and organized report writing and communication (email/correspondence).
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Customer focus, delivery- and results-oriented.
• Adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.
• Team player able to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:

• University degree
• Fluency in English
• At least 5 years working experience in an administrative, engineering, managerial, or supervisory position
• Successful pass of a Lead Auditor course for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 is an advantage
• Experience related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and certification is an advantage
