Full-Time Lead - Automation Test

As a QA Engineer at D42, you'll build and implement test automation frameworks. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a diverse set of technical skills in software testing and automation coding. You will be able to dive into many aspects of our technical product, strategize on how to automate and test new or legacy features and functionality, and provide support for the ongoing quality of said features/functionality. You will be a self-starter and look for improvements in our processes.

What you'll do:

• Takes initiative to implement test automation efforts.
• Performs as a productive team player.
• Responsible for maintaining test automation frameworks solutions and automated test scripts.
• Reviews requirement specifications and technical design documents to create test scripts and test plans.
• Participate in design and code inspections.
• Execute manual testing, as needed.
• Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintained existing automated regression test suite.
• Versatile test automation skillset and techniques in Web, API, Data Feeds.

5+ years experience in testing toolsets/frameworks such as:

• Selenium WebDriver
• Test Frameworks: Data-Driven, BDD: Cucumber/Gherkin

Experience with:

• Node.js
• Groovy
• Python
• Shell
• Docker

Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including:

• build/deploy/version control tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, GitHub)

Proven work experience in software development as it pertains to test and tools.

Strong knowledge of:

• software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• time management skills
• SQL and scripting
• Agile/Scrum development process
• networking, IT infrastructure
• performance and/or security testing (a plus)
