We are seeking a passionate Lead Data Engineer to build high-quality software solutions in an agile environment. Candidates must design testable, scalable, and quality code adhering to clean code principles. Strong understanding of SDLC is required.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse, CosmosDB
• Experience handling data from various sources (SQL, XML, JSON, Excel/CSV)
• Data security and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data platforms (data warehouses, databases)
• Understanding of data infrastructure, modeling, integration, warehousing, performance optimization, security, governance, and analytics
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Data Lake Analytics, Snowflake
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Databricks, Spark)
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate certification
• Domain expertise in Banking, Mortgage, Insurance, or Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract data from various sources and build data pipelines for cleansing, standardizing, transforming, and loading into Azure Data Lake Store/Synapse
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
• Apply scaling, automation, and data preparation techniques
• Improve data analysis, visualization, and presentation techniques
• Collaborate with Tech Leads to convert technical specifications into implementations
• Demonstrate business knowledge to identify and solve business issues
• Train and mentor junior Data Engineers
