Your new role
Ramboll is seeking Air Quality Modeler candidates for an open position in our Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake City or Fort Collins offices. Remote candidates will be considered as well.
The ideal candidate will be working in a challenging and dynamic environment that will include a detail-oriented team and independent work.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models
- Independently generate all aspects of model input data and review/diagnosis of model output data
- Independently review and QA work generated by team members
- Independent research and problem solving regarding state and federal modeling guidance
- Develop modeling-related documents include modeling protocols, or reports, and summary of results
- Development and maintenance of scripts to facilitate and expedite the generation of model inputs and outputs
About you
- Minimum of a BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering or related science degree
- 5+ years of air quality modeling experience
- Demonstrated experience with complex regulatory permit modeling

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $85,000 - $108,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
