Discovery and Requirement Gathering: Lead comprehensive discovery sessions with key stakeholders to identify business goals, functional requirements, and the overarching problem domain. Translate business objectives into actionable solution designs leveraging the Pega CDH platform.
Solution Design and Best Practices: Develop high-quality solutions in alignment with Pega best practices and promote an "out-of-the-box first" approach. Stay current with new Pega CDH features, advising on how to effectively leverage them for maximum client impact.
Decisioning & Modelling: Drive the design and implementation of predictive models, adaptive models, and decision strategies in Pega. Manage the full lifecycle of actions and offers, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
Customer Insights Cache (CIC): Effectively design and build the Customer Insights Cache (CIC) to optimize performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Support Project Management & Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of solutions by supporting the PM with project timelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., business analysts, developers, testers). Proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
CDH Tools & Decisioning Components: Support our clients in adopting and finding value in Pega's CDH Discovery tools (Value Finder, Simulation Planner, Impact Analyzer) to refine strategies, improve outcomes, and enhance customer engagements. Build and update key decisioning components—decision tables, scorecards, filters, property sets, switches, rankings—to support accurate real-time customer engagement. Integrate and optimize Pega Operations Manager in the development lifecycle to streamline workflows and collaboration.
Change Management & Documentation: Assess the impact of change requests on existing logic, updating design and technical documentation as needed. Maintain version control and governance processes when implementing solution changes.
Quality Assurance & Performance: Support and perform code reviews, unit tests, end-to-end tests, and performance tests to maintain rigorous quality standards. Collaborate with the Lead System Architect (LSA) to manage deployment, code merging, and environment configuration.
Value Realization & KPI's: Develop solutions with an eye toward achieving targeted KPIs and delivering tangible business value. Monitor solution performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous learning. Champion best practices and governance models within the Pega environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, enterprise architects, data teams, and business sponsors to ensure alignment and transparency. Communicate technical complexities in a clear, concise manner to non-technical audiences. Collaborate with enterprise architects on seamless integration between Pega CDH and other systems (CRM, data lakes, marketing automation). Define and uphold architectural standards and governance structures for Pega solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Information Science/Computer Science or relevant field. Minimum 8 years of experience which includes 4 years in Pega CDH. Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant and Certified Pega Data Scientist. Pega Certified Lead Decisioning preferred. Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
