Job Details
Install/Monitor and Maintain Postgres SQL and configure Rep Manager.
Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.
Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery in case a disaster destroys the database.
Monitor security and prevent any unauthorized access to the database
Schedule consistent maintenance on the server
Performance tunning on Servers and Queries.
Resolve any production data issues
Taplespace management
Knowledge of MS SQL is an added advantage
Be attentive to details
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Have good working knowledge in MS Office applications
Be able to adjust quickly and smoothly to changing priorities and conditions
Have ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
