What you'll be doing:
- Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize automated testing tools to increase efficiency.
- Review and report on testing results and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist in requirement gathering and analysis.
- Analyze and prioritize defects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2+ years in a lead role.
- Proficient in designing testing strategies for manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, JUnit.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based applications and services.
- Knowledge of security testing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Able to work east coast hours from your home office in the US. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
