Full-Time Lead QA Engineer - CRM

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer for our CRM team in Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for testing assignments.
• Automate test cases and run them in CI.
• Develop approaches for various types of testing (integration, performance testing, etc.).
• Highlight Risks and issues to senior management.
• Work closely with business analysts and developers in preparation and execution of planned testing activities.
• Participate in peer reviews of Test artefacts.
• Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and releases.
• Develop and maintain testing documentation with test case descriptions, expected results, and test requirements traceability.
• Conduct exploratory and acceptance testing of new features.
• Bugs analysis with the purpose of increasing test coverage in critical areas.
• Search for ways to constantly improve our test project, tools, and product quality.
• After an initial 6-month period, the role will encompass additional managerial responsibilities, including:
• Managing, mentoring, and growing a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Leading test initiatives and training the team as needed.
• Managing workload, delegating tasks, and providing estimates for feature and task completion timelines.
• Distributing tasks effectively within the QA team, fostering a collaborative approach with clear communication and expectations.
• Onboarding new hires, providing constructive feedback, and offering guidance to team members for continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with automation testing of web application documentation (C#/Java).
• Strong experience with OOP.
• Experience with testing APIs.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Business English is required.
• Experience leading QA teams.
• Experience with ERP, CRM systems, or EDI-related applications, integrations, etc. (a plus).
• Experience with automation testing using Selenium on .NET Framework using C# (a plus).
• Experience with CI systems (a plus).
