Accounts Manager Role

Pro-actively network, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts within Federal Civilian Agencies and Federal System Integrators.

Manage and develop relationships with customers using a consultative sales approach.

Understand client goals and concerns, and identify technology partners/products to meet those goals.

  1. Meet sales and profitability goals.
  2. Participate in industry organizations (e.g., ISSA, ISACA, OWASP).
  3. Manage leads/opportunities using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  4. Report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels accurately and consistently.
  5. Create, edit, and close service proposals.
  6. Work with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand their technologies and value proposition.
  7. Participate in field marketing events to generate interest.
  8. Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and articulate areas of expertise.
  9. Set proper expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors.
  10. Leverage supporting resources effectively.
  11. Present sales presentations to large groups and executives.

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years experience selling to Civilian Federal Agencies.
  • Strong, established relationships with key accounts.
  • Expert in solution selling and Infrastructure/Cyber Security.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Strong group presentation skills.
  • Verifiable history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
  • Demonstrated ability of lead generation and opening new accounts.
  • Experience selling professional services, security audits, and assessments (preferred).

Preferred Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Top Secret Clearance (preferred).
  • Network security vendor related certifications (preferred).
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (as needed).
