Full-Time Manager, Cyber Security Engineering

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineering Manager to lead a team within the NBCU Security Engineering organization. This role oversees the team's operations and ensures technology is securely designed and deployed. The candidate will manage day-to-day operations, deliver high-quality security engineering services, and collaborate to drive continuous improvement.

The Manager will lead a team responsible for conducting end-to-end security and threat analysis of enterprise initiatives, incorporating Information Security best practices. Responsibilities include mentoring, managing team operations, and aligning with organizational goals. This individual will serve as a technical expert across various Cyber Security domains including network, application, cloud, and enterprise security controls. Effective communication is crucial to obtain support for Cyber initiatives.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience partnering with business and technical teams to architect and deliver Cyber solutions
• Leadership experience including mentoring other security practitioners
• Light project management experience
• Ability to explain common threats to components including Network, Cloud, Web and Application environments
• Knowledge of best practices in the Cyber Security industry
• Advanced technical knowledge in at least one of the Cyber security areas
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
