BioIntelliSense, Inc., a continuous health monitoring company, seeks a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the data engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead data engineering team to build top-tier data assets and analytics tools.
- Drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices and processes.
- Own the entire data platform, from logging to end-user consumption, including internal and external tools.
- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
- Prioritize team tasks to maximize business value and reduce time to insight.
- Establish and enforce data governance and compliance policies.
- Promote data quality, integrity, and security.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in data infrastructure and data/analytics roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. MS preferred.
- Strong foundation in data modeling.
- Strong experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka).
- Strong SQL and ETL skills.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency with reporting tools (Qlik, QuickSight).
- Excellent communication skills with technical and executive teams.
- Ability to solve complex data-related problems.
- Experience with data/privacy laws (HIPAA).
