As a Domain Consultant Manager, you are the technical leader for your Domain Consultant team.
Your team provides technical expertise and guidance in customers’ network security and zero trust journey. You will work closely with the Solutions Consultant Managers and their District Sales Manager counterparts to build relationships with your customers and help them detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks and breaches.
You and your team play a key role in defining technical solutions to secure a customer’s key business imperatives and evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.
Develop our Domain Consultant teams, providing training and technical support as a solution expert.
Provide feedback to the product management team on new feature requests and product improvements based on your customer base learnings.
In partnership with the systems engineering team, displace competitor technologies, build market share within targeted major accounts, and help clients sleep at night.
Recruit and hire new Domain Consultants, hire the best talent in the industry.
Develop a Domain Consultant training curriculum. Mentor, train, and review employees, keeping them engaged and successful.
Develop relationships with Solutions Consultant Managers and their teams to ensure full technology coverage.
Provide effective technical leadership in customer interactions, including sharing security trends and methodologies.
Provide Domain Consultant expertise and cover resource conflicts.
Innovate and iterate to drive high technical validation and PoC win rates. Reduce technical validation and PoC timelines.
Present to customers at all levels, from technician to CIO.
Lead conversations focused on industry trends and emerging changes.
Discuss competitor offerings and positions our solutions as the best.
Support your team in documenting HLD and key use cases for proper implementation.
Review and guide team's technical validation plans (POV, customer readiness/requirements).
Build and maintain relationships with key customers to solidify reference accounts.
Act as an escalation point for presales and collaborate with post-sales teams.
Work with product teams to build requirements and roadmap plans for network security customers.
Maintain a general understanding of competitor selling strategies.
Travel within the region as required.
Experience required:
- Experience managing customer-facing sales engineering or solutions architect teams
- Experience in sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security
- Understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD
- Security product market trends and roadmap awareness
- Delivering comprehensive security solutions
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Experience leading large teams
- Proficiency in German and English
